What is Body Mass Index (BMI)?

Your BMI is a measure of your weight which takes your height into account.

It is generally accurate unless you are particularly fit and heavily muscled, like a body builder or rugby forward.

If so, you may need to have your BMI calculated by an Accredited Practicing Dietitian or doctor.
